Join artists Ruth Beale and Sadie St. Hilaire to help create a giant artwork that will become part of a new public hoarding in Thamesmead!

Together we'll explore patterns, drawing and big questions. We'll imagine ourselves as artists, journalists and curious thinkers, asking questions about the world around us and creating bold drawings inspired by our ideas.

We'll experiment with quick drawing games, make our own microphones for asking questions, and discover how artists turn small drawings into giant repeating patterns. By the end of the workshop, we'll combine everyone's drawings and words into one huge collaborative design, giving you a sneak peek of what the finished artwork could look like.

What questions do you have about the world? What would you change if you could? Come and help us create an artwork full of curiosity, imagination and everyone's ideas.

Free for children aged 5 to 12 and their siblings, parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This session will take place at TACO! 2 Cygnet Square, London SE2 9FA.
