What would your dream island look like?

Join artist Sadie St. Hilaire to imagine a place where everyone can thrive. Together we'll create stamps, paint, print and build one giant shared island inspired by our ideas, stories and imaginations.

Everyone will design their own slice of paradise on a giant shared artwork to paint however they imagine it. As each piece comes together, we'll build an island full of different stories, ideas and places where people, plants and animals can thrive.

Free for children aged 5 to 12 and their siblings, parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This session will take place at The Activity Room, Moorings Sociable Club, Arnott Close, SE28 8BG.

The Hundred Club is an experimental creative space that uses arts and play for children to explore social justice issues. Free and open to 5-12 year olds and their siblings, parents and carers. The club was initiated by Ruth Beale and is produced by TACO!



Sadie St. Hilaire is an artist working across animation, illustration and print in participatory contexts. She runs the Big Family Press, a child-led risograph press now based in Old Manor Park Library, bringing children and communities into a dialogue with artists to publish, archive and amplify young people’s experiences and perspectives on the world. Other projects include: Bad Drawing Club, South London Gallery; Down Up Down Up, a social distancing school with Galdem and Goldsmiths Animations; Windrush Suitcases with ACAVA.
