Anne Hardy

Working across installation, sculpture, sound, film and photography Anne Hardy’s work is born out of places she calls ‘pockets of wild space’ – the gaps in the urban landscape where materials, atmospheres, and emotions gather and resonate. Anne uses what she finds in these gaps to build sensory and mutable immersive installations. Anne considers these works as moments out of time,  gaps within the ‘everyday’, in which to re-encounter our relationships to the world we inhabit.

For TACO! Anne is researching a new ambitious project bringing her methodology of working to the context of TACO! and the many changes that are evident in the urban environment of Thamesmead.  Anne will produce a series of public outcomes that share her research and way of working, informing the development of the project.
