Black Rainbow present an evening of improvised experiemental electronic music with performances from Black Rainbow artist Ryan Gecko, and TACO! regulars - the music collectives Electronic Audio Club, and M.E.L.T.
The event is free with a paid bar.
Electronic Audio Club is a mutually supportive club providing a space for the curious to learn about electronics , realise DIY electronic audio projects and make their own instruments, amps, modules, synths, or speakers. The group is run on an informal basis with an emphasis on learning new skills, knowledge exchange and peer support, and performs regulary together on improvised live electronic sets. EAC meets are supported by TACO!
M.E.L.T. is a collective of queer and trans artists working with Improvisaiton and Electronics, founded by artist and educator Vanessa Michelis, and artist Gusty Ferro.
Ryan Gecko is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and composer based in London. His musical journey has seen him making experimental noise, playing bass in instrumental rock and fusion bands, and now using a Eurorack modular system to make melodic and otherworldly soundcapes. Black Rainbow is a collaborative collection of artists across multiple disciplines and covering several countries who work together for mutal benefit and support.
