TACO! presents an evening of live musical performances by 3 artists working within experimental music. Each has an approach to performance that employ self-made instruments or sound making devices in the production of their work, fusing electronic, acoustic and analogue sounds and textures, often in improvised sets.  The evening has been curated by sound artist and muscian Kate Carr.

Jinsynth, is a DJ, musician, and sound artist based in London. She blends various textural and experimental analogue noise elements into her music, playing synthesisers, modular, and a variety of microphones for field recording.  Jin constructs her own instruments and DIY microphones to produce unique sounds, used as material in her improvised live sets. During her live performances, she seeks to create an abstract, meditative atmosphere for her audience .

Cath Roberts is a musician, artist and organiser whose work explores free improvisation, composition and music. She playsbaritone saxophone and compositions in the band Sloth Racket, formed in 2015 by Cath, touring widely and releasing several albums. As an organiser, Cath co-runs LUME with Dee Byrne, producing concerts, tours and festivals since 2013 and releasing music on their offshoot label Luminous. Improvisation using live electronics and objects has led to a solo release plus the beginning of several new collaborations. Cath will be performing an improvised set with Graham Dunning at TACO!, playing synthesizers and samplers.

Graham Dunning is a london based artist, musican and DJ, his work explores sound as texture, timbre and something tactile, drawing on bedroom production, tinkering and recycling found objects. His visual work includes video and installations relating to these themes. His work evolves through experimentation with different processes - considering howsounds become music. Graham runs a tape label, Fractal Meat Cuts, releasing experimental and electronic music tapes and artist editions. He also presents a monthly radio show on London station NTS, called Fractal Meat on a Spongy Bone. Graham will be performing  an improvised set with Cath Roberts using turntables and various homemade sound-making attachements.
