Intimacy live at the Hot Snakes Night Club and on rtm.fm with an evening of experimental sound and performance art from friends and new faces, including Harry Smithson, Eleanor Arnold, Titus Barker, and DJ Euro Kurd (Caroline Meyer).
Intimacy is an ongoing broadcast and curatorial project by artist Elliot Buchanan that airs regularly on rtm.fm. It is conceived as a common ground for artists working with sound to critically engage with radio as a platform for community building, collective listening and support across a broad range of sound-centred practices.
Elliot Buchanan is a London-based artist working with sound to examine the complexities of the human experience. Utilising listening and sound-making as investigative methods, his practice explores how sonic materiality articulates social relations through spatiotemporal entanglements. Working mostly with sculptural sound installation, performance and radio he has shown work at The Swiss Church, Bomb Factory Foundation and completed a residency at Chisenhale Art Place.
