Intimacy: Sharing is an informal space for artists working with sound to share work and ideas. Open to artists of all abilities who work with or think through sound as part of their art/research practice, Intimacy is an informal space to commune and share ideas, research and work in order to receive constructive feedback.
This event is free to attend and participate in, though places are limited and it is recommended that artists wishing to join RSVP via Eventbrite.
Intimacy is an ongoing broadcast and curatorial project by artist Elliot Buchanan that airs regularly on rtm.fm. It is conceived as a common ground for artists working with sound to critically engage with radio as a platform for community building, collective listening and support across a broad range of sound-centred practices.

Elliot Buchanan is a London-based artist working with sound to examine the complexities of the human experience. Utilising listening and sound-making as investigative methods, his practice explores how sonic materiality articulates social relations through spatiotemporal entanglements. Working mostly with sculptural sound installation, performance and radio he has shown work at The Swiss Church, Bomb Factory Foundation and completed a residency at Chisenhale Art Place.
