The Hundred Club brings you Park Life!

Join artist Ruth Beale and the Hundred Club for a creative exploration of Crossways Park. Together we'll walk through the park, look closely at its landscape, and use drawing, photography, conversation and collecting to discover what makes this local space unique.

Session 1: Discover
What stories does the park hold? What do you notice when you slow down and really look? Through creative activities, we'll explore the sights, sounds and atmosphere of Crossways Park, gathering ideas that will help shape its future as part of an exciting local regeneration project.

Session 2: Design
What would your ideal park look like? What would add, change or keep? Through creative model making, we’ll bring all the ideas we’ve gathered to life and share them with the architects helping shape the future of Crossways Park. 


These workshops are part of the Hundred Club's ongoing collaboration with Peabody and Turkington Martin, inviting young people to help imagine the future of Crossways Park through observation, creativity and play.

Free for 5-12 year olds and their siblings, parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be provided.


Session 1 will take place at Taco! Print Studio, 30 Poplar Place, London SE28 8BA, then we'll walk together to Crossways Park, Glendale Way, SE28 8NG.

Session 2 will take place at Taco! Print Studio, 30 Poplar Place, London SE28 8BA.

The Hundred Club is an experimental creative space that uses arts and play for children to explore social justice issues. Free and open to 5-12 year olds and their siblings, parents and carers. The club was initiated by Ruth Beale and is produced by TACO!




Ruth Beale co-founded The Alternative School of Economicswith Amy Feneck in 2012, and collaborates with Simon Elvins on All the Libraries in London. Ruth is a trustee of the Feminist Library, a member of the all-genders f*choir, and a member of Lewisham Arthouse studio cooperative.
