Slagroom #2 presents experimental electronic music from artists Wilf Amis, Martin Hurych, and Gobi_10K. Expect and unhealthy menu of smoggy digital feedback, putrid microsound, terrible singing and all round bad luck!
gobi_10k (Alec Gordon) emerges from the collision of Scotland’s rural landscapes and post-industrial soundscapes, shaping a practice spanning performance, sound installation, and instrument design. Using Max/MSP, generative deep learning, and DIY electronics, they explore spectrum saturation through web- scraped datasets and adversarial networks. After forming the harsh noise ensemble ssdhd in Glasgow’s underground scene, they relocated to study at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague, where they now live and work.
Recent and upcoming appearances include Bludný kámen's Sonic Lab in Opava, Studio LOOS's intersect.SERIES, and Central Station Ljubljana with noise artist Kikiriki. Their work has been featured on Concertzender’s Electronic Frequencies and in XOR Space’s Loophole VR Exhibition at Timcheh Festival 2023, in collaboration with Veronika Batzdorfer. Notable performances include DobiaLab (Italy) with Aleksander Koruga, Cashmere Radio Berlin with Max Frimout, and 8sixA Amsterdam with Farzané Nouri.
Martin Hurych is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans sound art, performance, architecture, and curatorial projects. Based in The Hague (NL) and Lubná (CZ), he works with field recordings, documentary audio, generative coding, and custom-built synthesizers to create live performances, installations, and sonic explorations.
He has performed at notable festivals and venues across Europe, including the Next Festival (Bratislava, SK), PAF Festival of Film Animation and Contemporary Art (Olomouc, CZ), and Rewire Festival (The Hague, NL).
As a co-founder and curator of the Přespolní association, he has been involved in organizing cultural programs in Lubná (CZ) since 2017. Přespolní provides a platform for exhibitions, residencies, and organizes the annual Bučení festival, a festival of experimental electronic music and audio-visual art.

Wilf Amis (they/them) is a Hague-based London-born musician, writer, and designer of synthesizers, music software and games, working with a thematic throughline of cybernetics and interrelatedness. In their live sets solarpunk pop songs are woven together between improvisations of microtonal synth nerdery, textural, plunderphonics, and blown out kicks. They are the organiser of the Pirates In Isolation plunderphonics compilations, and the Cars Go Moo nights at Slagroom Den Haag.gobi_10k (Alec Gordon) emerges from the collision of Scotland’s rural landscapes and post-industrial soundscapes, shaping a practice spanning performance, sound installation, and instrument design.
