Join artist Ruth Beale & Tommy Brentnall to help create the next edition of WAAAAH!, The Hundred Club's very own newspaper.

Working together we'll explore ideas through drawing, writing, photography, conversation and play as we create stories, images and artwork inspired by the things that matter to us.

Whether you love drawing, writing, interviewing or telling stories, there's a place for everyone as we create the next edition of WAAAAH! together.

Free for children aged 5 to 12 and their siblings, parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be provided.

The Hundred Club is an experimental creative space that uses arts and play for children to explore social justice issues. Free and open to 5-12 year olds and their siblings, parents and carers. The club was initiated by Ruth Beale and is produced by TACO!




Ruth Beale co-founded The Alternative School of Economicswith Amy Feneck in 2012, and collaborates with Simon Elvins on All the Libraries in London. Ruth is a trustee of the Feminist Library, a member of the all-genders f*choir, and a member of Lewisham Arthouse studio cooperative.


Tommy Brentnall is interested in drawing, printing things and making pamphlets, preferably with other people, he works as a freelance Illustrator, arts facilitator and as a designer with the studio Design Print Bind, and also runs the small press Physical Interface, publishing experimental comics, drawings and fanzines.
