TACO! Artist Research Library
OPENING DECEMBER 2025
The TACO! Artist Research Library is a publicly-available resource, with books, research materials and learning resources to support artists, communities and groups locally. The Library welcomes anyone interested in books and reading for pleasure, research and connection with others.
The Library Catalogue connects to broad areas and themes within TACO!’s artistic enquiry:
The Library also houses FOAM, a unique collection of over 150 single-issue, artist dub plates, alongside other vinyl by artists. These are available to listen to on a turntable. Please ask for assistance if you would like to listen to anything within the collection.
From December 2025, the TACO! Artist Research Library will be open to the public every Friday. Users must always book via the Calendar booking system to guarantee access.
The Library also hosts the Leftovers Reading Group and a public programme offering entry points to texts and publications within the Catalogue.
The Library shares the space with the TACO! Print Studio. As a space of connection and creative making, we can’t always guarantee a quiet environment for study. Please note that others may be using the Library Catalogue too. Available seating includes soft beanbags on the floor, as well as a bench and a table with folding chairs with backs. For more accessibility information see our Accessibility page.
There is a small kitchen and Library users are welcome to help themselves to a cup of tea.
