TACO! is seeking an inspirational, collaborative and experienced Deputy Director to work closely with the Artistic Director in the future development of the organisation, its culture, practice, and public programmes.  

The role contributes to the curation and development of  TACO!’s public programming, which includes Artist Projects,  Publishing, and reflective activities that are at the heart of TACO!’s organisational practice and ethos of ongoing enquiry.  The Deputy Director leads specifically on developing and delivering the vision for Young Artist Projects - ensuring they are integrated across all of TACO!’s offer as part of a wider cohesive artistic strategy.

The role supports the Artistic Director in the day-to-day running of the organisation, sharing operational duties by taking on specific responsibilities for the strategic and operational management of TACO!  
As a senior member of the TACO!  team the Deputy Director is expected to provide leadership for TACO! , its staff, artists and communities.  The role is a custodian for TACO! organisational culture, practice,and future, and works closely with all staff to foster and nurture TACO!’s social and artistic practices.

The role is integral to representing and embodying the culture and values of TACO! in all of its work with the public, stakeholders, artists and community members.

Please note this is currently a pro rata contract, 3 days per week role with a salary of £36- 40K depending on experience.
