TACO!  is seeking a Producer to work on the curation, delivery and development of TACO!’s work with children and young people.

The role focuses on the delivery of an established programme of projects, residencies and exchanges that centre children and young people as artists, producers and creative citizens.  This role is a key to ensuring a strong connection between members of the YAP community, families and artists, and supporting artistic ideas and practice to be transferable.

The role leads on delivering the Young Artist Projects (YAP), with its activities integrated across all of TACO!’s wider artistic offer and facilities. The role has a particular focus on delivering established ongoing projects, which include:

  • The Hundred Club, an experimental space for children aged 5-12yrs to use art and play to explore social justice issues that matter to them.

  • Bang Splat Whoosh, a research project which supports artist residencies in children centres in an exchange with early years children aged 0-4yrs.

We are looking for a passionate individual whose values align with TACO!’s and those of children, families and young people we work with, with knowledge of artistic communities in SE London including Greenwich and Bexley.

Members of the Hundred Club expect that you…

“ … will be really good at explaining stuff but funny, not dad joke funny, just normal funny.”

“ ….should like art with knowledge of making and printing “

“…can’t just sit on the sofa, not liking art, telling us what to do!”

“ … will be calm supportive and be able to take action!”

“…will appreciate children’s artwork!”
